Project DNA
What if identity could be represented using tiles?
CONCEPT
Conceived by the artist Serra Behar, this project is based on salvaged tile fragments that embody a unique cultural heritage. Assembling these pieces creates a sculptural structure resembling DNA, forming a visual metaphor for resilience and a collective future grounded in memory and the connections between people.
A multidisciplinary artist living and working between Portugal and Turkey, focusing on sculpture and installation art. With a Master’s degree from Mimar Sinan University, she explores materials and concepts, transforming stories into poetic, interactive installations.
