CONCEPT

A journey through design, speed, and pop culture

Between 1970 and 1987, Porsche left its mark on international motorsport with a visual aesthetic that endures in the collective imagination. In this exhibition, Policas Art recaptures that energy, transforming it into original pieces inspired by the vibrant colours of the major teams and their race numbers, transforming them into works of contemporary art.

Each artwork represents a Porsche model that made history and shaped the world of motorsport. More than a tribute, the exhibition offers a journey through the innovation, speed, design, and graphic identity of the German brand, where the automotive object transcends its mechanical function to assume an artistic, historical, and emotional dimension.

POLICAS ART

Policas Art is an artist and designer from Lisbon who graduated from the António Arroio School. With a multidisciplinary background spanning painting, design, and illustration, his portfolio includes highlights such as participating in CowParade Lisbon (“GLORIOSA”), representing Portugal in the Swatch X You project at Expo 2020 Dubai, and winning an award at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards with the “Sabores de Angola” project. In 2025, he presented the exhibition EQUILÍBRIO at the Oficina Impossível gallery.
